SUMMARY:Itancanpi Drum Group & Indigenous Girl's Society
DESCRIPTION:Koska (young men) and Hoksida (young boy) Drum Group for ages 4th through 12th Grade.  This group teaches Dakota songs and drum etiquette. They also travel to community events to sing\, showcase\, and traditional Dakota arts. \nIndigenous Girl’s Society Group for grades 4th through 12th grade. This group is created through a grant from Indigenous Justice Circle. The girls will learn cultural teachings\, traditional Dakota Arts\, and travel to meet and work with other Girl’s Society groups in greater Mn. \nTransportation home is provided along with a delicious meal! \nQuestions\, please email Alice Cournoyer at alice.c@dakotawicohan.com
